Event video production – what to consider?

    Event video has a single chance to capture the moment. Planning, redundancy, and the right crew matter more than camera choice.

    Crew and coverage

    For a single-day conference, plan for 2–4 cameras and a dedicated audio operator.

    Add a producer to manage talent, schedule, and live cutdowns.

    Audio is everything

    Take a clean feed from the venue mixer. Always record a backup with on-camera microphones.

    Deliverables

    Highlight reel (60–90s), full session recordings, social cutdowns, and an after-movie within 1–2 weeks.

    Live and same-day social

    If you need same-day social posts, brief the editor before the event and assign a dedicated edit suite on site.
